So I haven't been blogging for one whole month and my chatbox has been filled with *&^%$# times. (In case you are wondering, no, I wasn't swearing, not today anyway.)
So I've downloaded my entire blog using BlogBooker (aha, it's
free - in your face, Blog2Print!) to ... uh, reflect on my life so that my writer's block (when it comes to about 20 application essays due in less than a month) can be, well, unblocked.
Man, I didn't know one month of not writing can lead to stuttering! Tsk tsk.
So in the past 10 minutes I've been flipping through my 337-page blog-turned-into-blog.
And just then I fell in love all over again with all those little, seemingly insignificant parts of my life.
I LOVE the pink noodles which I'd hated at that time, my naive excitement over the victory of Obama, my immature I-hate-you notes, my writing addiction, my swearing addiction, the MPAFA "treaty", the fear of Cadbury (who is currently my good friend, now that he's clarified his past feelings), the magazine put together with A WHOLE LOT of effort, my drawing skills (which, let me clarify, is nowhere like Picasso's), the Family Feud game, the MRI-turned-MSI incident (which was more than a tad embarrassing ><), my Holland lop addiction, my obsession with Australian Mamee Monster (which is - I am serious - healthier than ours since it's of export quality), the fact that I've once fried a piece of salmon without burning it, the tamago boros (thanks, Jess!) and most importantly, my sarcasm. =)
As for the other dark and shady, but inevitable, parts of my life, I've learnt to accept them, and also the fact that I'm so much more fortunate than a lot of people I might have or might not have met.
As for my religion preference, I have yet to take a stance. What's for sure is that I am no longer agnostic, but still unaffiliated to any religion. That's progress, huh?
As for the direction of my blog, it's going from suspense-horror to black comedy to (unfortunately) non-fictional documentation of my academic achievement.
But I am more than darn determined to steer it back to something more ... holistic and less confined to the university I am gonna end up in. =D
Tata for now.
Off for more Julian Mcmahon. *Drools* (Yeah, it's a HUGEEEEEEEEE crush)
